The Shadow Rising by Robert Jordan: Week 2. The reason that he is my most favorite currently is because he is the guy that looks like he can rip you apart limb by. If you haven't read the book, or the whole series, why not join in and read along with the rest of us? That's something that got laid into the narrative back in The Shadow Rising -- ten books ago! There was no reason for that, no payoff for those connections. I would have to say the character Perrin. An epic fantasy series by Robert Jordan, currently consisting of fourteen books, a prequel (New Spring), and a series guide entitled "The World of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time," as well as a first-person shooter and an RPG.
